About this model
Space cells are created at random, 3H per cell, and absorbed only inside the matter (M, R). Space is incompressible, so each absorbed cell is replaced by its neighbours: a slow drift u = Q/(4πr²) − Hr whose net inward flux diminishes outward.
The riverbed vr = √(2GM/r) − Hr is the active fraction of space that moves matter, as inertia couples a body to the space it moves through. It is not the cell drift. Its convective acceleration gives −GM/r². The influence of M on space spreads at c.
The spiral riverbed adds vφ² = 3/2 X² − vr², so the riverbed speed is the same everywhere outside R: no acceleration along the flow, only turning (vL·ω). At rc the spiral becomes a circle: inside, spirals wind toward it; outside, they unwind away.
Schematic units: rc = 1, time in 1/H. The absorption rate Q is a free input; c is slowed for display. In real galaxies rc ≈ 100–260 kpc, far outside the disk. Cells live in a ±12° equatorial wedge, matter in the disk plane.
